Şevval Sam

Şevval Sam was born in Istanbul in 1973. After graduating from the Graphic Department in the Faculty of Fine Arts at Marmara University, she started acting in many TV series and films such as Süper Baba" (1993-1998) and "Yıldızların Altında" (2002). In 2006 Sam released her first album "Sek" with a label of Kalan Music. In 2007 she released her second album "İstanbul′s Secrets." Sam has given numerous concerts in Turkey. She is famous for her Black Sea folk songs. She collected them into her third album "Karadeniz" in 2008. Since then Sam has released four more albums including "Has Arabesk" (2010), "Il Tek" (2012), "Tango" (2012) and "Toprak Kokusu" (2015). She currently continues her work in Istanbul.
