Yıldız Tilbe

Yıldız Tilbe was born in Izmir in 1966. She studied at Gültepe High School but abandoned school due to her marriage. She later made her musical debut in nightclubs.  She met Sezen Aksu and move to Istanbul to be a singer upon Aksu’s invitation. In 1994, Tilbe released her debut “Delikanlım” and became famous with her songs. It was followed by her other albums such as “Dillere Destan” (1995), “Aşkperest” (1996), “Salla Gitsin Dertlerini” (1998), “Gülüm” (2001), “Haberi Olsun” (2002), “Yürü Anca Gidersin” (2003), “Yıldız’dan Türküler” (2004), “Sevdiğime Hiç Pişman Olmadım” (2004), “Papatya Baharı” (2005), “Tanıdım Seni” (2006), “Güzel” (2008), “Aşk İnsanı Değiştirir” (2009) and “Hastayım Sana” (2010).
