Canan Göknil

Canan Göknil graduated from the Department of Theatre Costumes and Fashion at Instituto d′Arte di Firenze. She has been a professional costume designer for 20 years at Municipality Theatres of Istanbul. She has also designed costume for many films such as “Fetih 1453” (2012), “Megic Carpet Ride” (2005), “G.O.R.A.” (2004), “Adem ile Havva” (1986), and “Vasif Öngören: Asiye nasil kurtulur” (1986). In 1992, she founded the Dress Best Uniforms & Corporate Wear company with Tülin Yazıcı. Göknil teaches Costume History and realization at Istanbul Yeditepe University. She currently continues her work in Istanbul.
