Ahmet Levendoğlu was born in 1945. After graduating from the Theater Department at Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in 1969, he began his career as an actor in England. In Turkey, he first acted in the Gen-Ar Theatre. Levendoğlu has performed not only in various plays but also in TV drama series and films. In addition, he has translated 14 theater scripts, written articles and edited theater books. Since 1990, Levendoğlu has served as an actor and teacher in the Tiyatro Stüdyosu, which he founded. He has also taught theater at different institutions and universities including Koç University. Levendoğlu received the "Best Director" in the 15th Sadri Alışık Film and Theater Awards for the "Şölen" which was performed by the Tiyatro Stüdyosu.
