Serkan Keskin

Serkan Keskin was born in Izmit in 1977. In 1997, he started studying theater at a class within the Izmit City Theatre. He performed in several plays at the Izmir City Theatre in 1998-2001. He also studied theater at Academy Istanbul in 1999-2002. Since 2002, Keskin has worked as an actor and director at the Semaver Kumpanya in Istanbul. He has also performed in many films and TV series, which were directed by famous directors such as Yavuz Turgul, Zeki Ökten, Reha Erdem, Zeki Demirkubuz, and Onur Ünlü. Keskin received the 32nd İsmail Dümbüllü Award in 2012. He won the Best Actor Award for his role in the film "İtirazım Var" in the 33rd Istanbul Film Festival. In 2014 he won the Best Supporting Actor Award for his role in the film "Silsile" in the 21st Golden Boll Film Festival. Besides being an actor and director, Keskin is a musician and performs with several bands including “Leyla The Band.”
