Nihal Geyran Koldaş is a Turkish actress and theatre director. In 1997 she created and fictionalized a play "Park Yapılmaz" with Ceysu Koçak for the Bilsak Theatre Workshop. In 1999 Koldaş acted in the play "Kurbağa Öyküleri" with the Bilsak Theatre Workshop in the 11th International Istanbul Theatre Festival. In 2003 she directed a play "Özel Bir Gün" in the Theatre Diyez. In the following year Koldaş dramatized and directed Sevin Burak′s story "Mut" with Aylin Deveci and Güzde Saner. In 2005 Koldaş acted Tony Kushner′s solo performance "Evcimen /Kabil." In 2007 she translated and dramatized a play "Beckett Grimavi," in which she performed at the Bilsak Theatre Workshop & Maya Stage. Besides plays, Koldaş has also acted in many films and TV series. She is famous for her role in the film "Masumiyet." In 2012 she acted a leading role in the film "Kuma," directed by Umut Dağ. Koldaş received the Best Supporting Actress Award in the 43rd Cinema Writers Association Awards. She currently continues her work in Istanbul.
