Murat Garipağaoğlu

Murat Garipağaoğlu was born in Ankara in 1969. He graduated from the Department of Language, History and Geography of Ankara University in 1993. He had an interest in acting while studying at university. In 1993 Garşpağaoğlu entered the City Theatre of the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, where he acted for more than 40 plays.

He acted leading roles in many plays including "Macbeth," "Woyzeck," "Marat Sade" and "Zengin Mutfağ;" and worked with famous actors such as Mehmet Ulusoy, Macit Koper and Yücel Erten. In 2013 Garipağaoğlu received the Best Comedy / Musical Actor Award in the Afife Jale Awards. He currently continues acting at the City Theatre. He has also performed in films, and TV series as an actor, as well as a voice actor.
