Tansu Biçer was born in Ankara in 1978. After finishing Karşıyaka Şemikler High School in Izmir, he graduated from the Theater Department of Eskişehir Anadolu University State Conservatory in 2001. He worked as an actor at the Theater Anadolu in the season of 2001-2002. In 2002, Biçer moved to Istanbul and began working as an actor at the Semaver Kumpanya. Since then, he has performed not only in theater plays but also in many films and TV series. He is known for films "Yozgat Blues" (2013), "Küf" (2012) and "Hacivat Karagöz neden öldürüldü?" (2006). Biçer also performs as a voice actor. He has received many awards including the Best Actor Award in the 21st Golden Boll Film Festival (2014), the Best Supporting Actor Award in the 20th Adana Golden Boll Film Festival (2013) and the Best Supporting Actor Award in the 16th Sadri Alışık Awards (2011).
