Ushan Çakır

Ushan Çakır was born in Izmir in 1984. He graduated from the State Conservatory of Istanbul University. Since 2005 he has performed in many plays at various theatres. He has also acted in many films such as "Sev Bei" (2013), "Dedemin İnsanları" (2011) "Uzun Hikaye" (2012), "Celal Tan ve Ailesinin Aşırı Acıklı Hikayesi" (2011) and "Başka Semtin Çocukları" (2008); and TV series including "Kara Ekmek "(2015), "Kurt Seyit ve Sura" (2014), "20 Dakika" (2013), "Kyıp Şehir" (2012), "Leyla ile Mecnun" (2011), "Güneydoğu′dan Öyküler-Önce Vatan" (2010), and "Evlat" (2003). Çakır has also performed as a voice actor. He has received several awards including the "Best Actor" for his role in the film "Sev Beni" at the 5th Odessa Film Festival (2014) and "The Most Successful Supporting Actor of the Year" in the 20th Yapı Kredi Afife Jale Theatre Awards (2016). Çakır currently continues his work in Istanbul.
