Abdülhadi Erol Dönmez

Abdülhâdi Erol Dönmez was born in Sivas in 1965. He graduated from the Faculty of Theology in 1989. He completed his master’s degree in the Faculty of Fine Arts at Marmara University in 1992. Between 1994 and 1998, he worked as a research assistant in the Faculty of Fine Arts at his alma mater. Dönmez learned calligraphy, especially Sülüs and Nesih writing from Hüseyin Kutlu, and received professional license in 1993. Currently, Dönmez works at the Library of Turkish and Islamic Applied Arts in Istanbul.
