Aliye Özdürük

Aliye Özdürük was born in Sivas. She is a marbling (Ebru) artist. These artists use different materials and objects, however they generally prefer to use paper and textile. Scarves, cushions, ties, curtains etc. are made of Ebru on fabrics as well. Özdürük participated in the 4th Design Competition of Cultural Gift Goods, held by the Turkish Cultural Ministry. She particularly enjoys applying traditional Ebru Art to functional products though the use of pastel colors.
