Aydın Köse

Aydın Köse was born in Aksaray in 1966. He graduated from Kırıkkale University in 1994. He learned calligraphy from Doğan Çilingir in 1999 and obtained his professional license in sülüs and nesih scripts from Doğan Çilingir, Fuat Başar, and Adem Sakal in 2003. Köse also received his professional license in celi sülüs script from Fuat Başar, Turan Sevgili and Hasan Çelebi in 2013. Köse has continued learning talik script from Fuat Başar. Köse has participated in many activities and group exhibitions in Turkey and abroad. His works can be seen in many private collectors in Turkey. In 2009 he exhibited his work in the State Turkish Decorative Arts competition. Köse is a calligraphy art commission member in the Department of Education and Training in the Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism. He currently continues his work and teaches calligraphy at his workshop in Ankara.
