Ayşe Nilgün Arıburnu

Ayşe Nilgün Arıburnu began working on porcelain decoration at Elma Sanat in 1994.  In 1999, she won the group prize for the porcelain decoration in Como, Italy. She also received a gold medal “Meissen Trophy” in 2001. In 2002, she won the first prize with her work in the Nova Milanese Museum, “VII. Convention Azzura 2002 Premio Porcelain Decoration”. In 2003, she was invited to the Nova Milanese Museum by the museum director, Luisa Longoni Mauri and the mayor, Laura Barzaghi, on the occasion of the restoration opening of the museum. In the honor of Arıburnu, the museum director prepared the Turkish Room, where her works were exhibited.  She participated in several group exhibitions as well.
