Berrin Çakın Güç was born in Sinop in 1976. She graduated from the Department of Traditional Turkish Arts in the Faculty of Fine Arts at Mimar Sinan University in 2002. During her studies at the university, she studied illumination from Faruk Taşkale, calligraphy from Ali Alparslan, miniature from Taner Alakuş and Yakup Cem, and drawing works from Kaya Üçer. Currently, she continues her master’s degree at her alma mater. Güç also worked at Eda Sahan’s workshop and Esat Malbeleği’s workshop to develop her skill on illumination art. Since 2002, Güç has continued to work at the workshop of Taner Alakuş. She has participated in many group exhibitions and competitions in Turkey. Currently, Güç teaches miniature at the Turkish Culture Service Foundation Cefer Ağa Medresesi Culture Center, and İSMEK and Classical Turkish Arts Foundation.
