Ahmet Kerkük

Ahmet Kerkük was born in Kütahya in 1927. He was nine years old when he started to work with his father, Ali Osman. After he finished primary school, he began work in the Metin Ceramic factory beside the ceramist, Hakkı Çinioğlu. Later he worked at Azim Ceramic factory. In 1957, he began working with Ali Özker; they established Elhamra Ceramics with Enver Ertan. Later he established Elhamra II with his son, Mustafa.
