Fahri Çetinkaya

Fahri Çetinkaya was born in Kütahya in 1969. He learned making ceramics from his tutor Mehmet Koçer at his high school. Çetinkaya continued making ceramics and tiles with İbrahim Kocaoğlu, known as Alopaşalı İbrahim, who is also a tile artist. Çetinkaya has attended many national and international fairs, held by the Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism, and exhibited his works in over 40 countries. His works can be seen in many museums in Turkey. His works on Piri Reis were exhibited in several places in Istanbul on the occasion of the Year of Piri Reis in 2013. In 2014 Çetinkaya made the 19 works of Matrakçı Nasuh. He currently continues his work in Kütahya.
