Cihangir Aktaş

Cihangir Aktaş was born in Eskişehir in 1948. After finishing primary school, he started working as an apprentice beside his uncle to make Meerschaum pipes, which is his family’s business. Cihangir Aktaş succeeded this business as the fifth generation and has been making Meerschaum pipes by hand since 1958. His special product “düz” (straight) pipes are up to the world standard and sold in foreign countries.
