Emine Sağman

Emine Sağman was born in Istanbul in 1968. She graduated from the Faculty of Theology at Marmara University. In 2001, she obtained her professional license in sülüs and nesih scripts from Hüseyin Kutlu. Sağman then taught at Eyüp Imam Hatip High School. Currently, she teaches at Kazım Karabelir Imam Hatip High School and gives calligraphy classes at the Fatih Municipality. Between 1999 and 2007, Sağman learned illumination art (Tezhip) from Hatice Aksu. She continues to work with her master Hüseyin Kutlu in Istanbul.
