Gencer Kondal

Gencer Kondal was born in Yalvaç in 1972. He started making felt beside his father, which is his family business. Felt making is a cultural and historical craft in Turkey. Yalvaç felt is made of lamb or sheep wool and keeps its traditional characters on designs, motifs and colors.  Except for other different colors, their traditional color is black, blue and red. As of today, Kondal is one of few master craftsmen who make traditional felt.
