Firdevs Yalınkılıç

Firdevs Yalınkılıç has had an interest in embroidery works since her childhood and learned the techniques by herself. She became a master craftsman and started teaching embroidery. In 2005 Yalınkılıç received a master certification in the Nizip Public Education Center. She finished Gaziantep 19 Mayıs Open High School in 2006. Between 2005 and 2007 Yalınkılıç served as a master teacher in the Development Program for Cultural Heritage in the region of GAP in order to revive Gaziantep embroidery and make it financially viable.  She received a certification in marketing and cooperative trading systems. As of today Yalınkılıç continues to make embroidery and teaches 15 trainees.
