Gülcihan İrkli

Since her young days, Gülcihan İrkli felt an interest in handicrafts. She embroiders traditional designs using a sewing machine. She became a master and adapted them for today’s taste. İrkli taught at the national education center for a long time. She received the degree of “Turkey” in a competition which was held by an embroidery thread’s company. She has participated in many fairs both in Turkey and abroad, and served in many festivals. She is the president of the Embroidery Association as well as the chair of the Control Commission of Tailor’s Corporation. She continues to work at her own workshop.
