Hatice Çınar

Hatice Çınar was born in the town of Karacakılavuz in Tekirdağ in 1960. She learned how to weave cicim, which is the traditional local weaving, when she was a child. She developed her skill and became a master craftsman. Using her weaving, she makes products such as cushion covers and vests according to modern tastes. Since 2003, Çınar has taught cicim weaving as a master craftsman at a public center.
