Hatice Tabanlıoğlu

Hatice Tabanlıoğlu was born in Safranbolu in 1953. She learned tailoring as an apprentice for 4 years. She developed her skill and became a master craftsman. For 30 years, she has researched local handicrafts and collected hand printed textiles. Tabanlıoğlu designs new models and makes modern clothes, using local traditional textiles. As of today, she continues to work at her workshop.
