Vedat Dağeri

Vedat Dağeri was born in Bor in 1949. After finishing primary school, he started working as an apprentice. Dağeri makes palans: broad soft saddles without frame. He uses a kind of grass /plant (“palan otu”) to fill inside, and covers the palans with kilims and carpets. As of today, there are only a few craftsmen who make palans in Anatolia. Dağeri continues to make palans at his own workshop.
