Cezayir Yurdakul

Beykoz glasses were produced at the factory which was established at Beykoz during the reign of Sultan Selim III. (1789-1807). The principle character is that they are all decorated by using 24 carat gold on colorless or colored crystal cutting glass and opal glass. These works were in fashion at that time. As of today they are collected in museums and private collections. Cezayir Yurdakul is one of the few craftsmen who continue to make Beykoz glasses.
