Haci Osman Nergiz

Haci Osman Nergiz was born in Şanlıurfa in 1955. He finished primary and middle school in Ankara and high school in Şanlıurfa. He learned how to carve designs in wood from his father in his childhood. In 2005 he participated in the Handicrafts Fair in Istanbul (Sultanahmet), Izmir and Antalya, which was held by Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism. He also participated in the same activity in Istanbul in 2006, 2007 and 2008. Nergiz continues to make wood carving works in Şanlıurfa.
