Hakan Arısoy

Hakan Arısoy was born in Ankara in 1979. He made his theater debut in the play “Yeni Dünya” in 1998. He then performed in several theaters. In 2003, he founded the Hakan Arısoy Puppet Theater and organized seminars about puppets in many Universities. In 2004, Arısoy established the Puppet Center Theater with Alp Arısoy. He played puppets in many performances such as “Benden Sonra Ölüm Gelir”, “İbriş Memiş”, “İbrişin Misafirleri”, “Kuklacı Karagöz” and “Sahibini Arayan Mektuplar ve Anadolu’nun Kuklaları”. As a member of the International Puppet and Shadow Theater Union, Arısoy has made puppets by himself and endeavored to introduce the art of puppet to the young generation. He has performed in the USA, Holland, France, Switzerland, Germany, Denmark and United Arap Emirates (Dubai).
