Haluk Kürkçüoğlu

Haluk Kürkçüoğlu was born in Manisa in the district of Saruhanlı in 1978. He learned the art of Ebru and received a professional license from Nuri Pınar Yıldırım.  Kürkçüoğlu then started learning the art of Kaat (paper art) from the master artist Muhittin Tamay. He has had several solo exhibitions, and has participated in many group exhibitions in Turkey and abroad. As of today, Kürkçüoğlu carries on the art of Ebru and Kaat. In 2011, his work was selected among 68 works out of 800 works for exhibiting in the International 2011 Triennial, which will be held in the Paper Arts Museum of Charmey, Switzerland in May 2011.
