İsmail Kanbaz

İsmail Kanbaz was born in Şanlıurfa in 1976. He graduated from the Faculty of Theology at Harran University. In 2006, he completed his master′s degree at the same university. He currently continues his doctoral degree at Dicle University. Kanbaz began learning calligraphy from Mehmet Memiş in 1993 and received his professional license in sülüs and nesih scripts in 2010. Kanbaz has participated in many group exhibitions and competitions and received several awards.
