Mehmet Akif Külekçi

Mehmet Akif Külekçi was born in Şanlıurfa in 1968. He started making copper works when he was eight years old. In addition to the traditional copper works, he has made new forms and models and gotten many awards for them. Külekçi has an identity certificate as an art craftsman, which was given from the Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism. As of today, he makes touristic copper works using traditional local forms and designs.
