Mehmet Bülent Fıstıkçı

Mehmet Bülent Fıstıkçı was born in Gaziantep in 1976. After finishing primary school, he started working under the master craftsman, Hayri Akbay in 1989. In 2002, Fıstıkçı founded his own workshop. He has participated in fairs and festivals in Turkey to introduce his mother-of-pearl inlaid works. Among the festivals he participated in are: the Ankara Art Fair, the Izmir International Handicrafts Fair, the Antalya Altın Portakal Handicrafts Fair (2004 and 2009) and the 4th Traditional Altıneller Handicrafts Festival (2009).
