Muhammed Enes Huri

Muhammed Enes Huri was born in Damascus. After completing his education in Syria, he moved to Istanbul to pursue his study of Islamic Arts. He studied calligraphy, especially rik’a, sülüs and nesih scripts with Hasan Çelebi and Davut Bektaş. Huri obtained his professional license in sülüs nesih script in 2004. He worked as an assistant of Hasan Çelebi in his calligraphy classes at the History and Nature Foundation for three years. Huri was invited to Kuwait by the Kuwait Foundation to train calligraphy in 2005 and 2006. He also taught calligraphy in Damascus. Huri has participated in numerous exhibitions and fairs in Turkey and abroad. Currently, he works and teaches at the Nun Art Studio in Istanbul.
