Mustafa Deniz Beken

Mustafa Deniz Beken was born in Izmir in 1968. He completed his doctorate on fishery products. He has an interest in chaplets (tespih) and natural products, and started making seeds and beads. Since 2002, Beken has been one of the suppliers for Greek Komboloi (Greek Beads) Museum. Beken has particularly an interest in beads which were made of Bakalite-Catalin bars from 1920 to 1950. He founded a private beads laboratory and has been making beads of seeds which are added special aromas.
