Mustafa Yıldız was born in Tokat, the district of Seyit Necmettin in 1928 and finished primary school. When he was 10 years old, Yıldız started working beside a copper craftsman Ahmet İçel. Yıldız He developed his skills under Rahmi Çizmeci and Osman Kovalı in 1945. In 1952, Mustafa became a master craftsman and opened his workshop in the Sulusokak Çarşısı in Tokat with his brother. They produce traditional basins, stove burners, pails, pans, sauce pans, plates, kildan, hamam boilers and cups etc. Yıldız moved his workshop to industrial estates in 1977. He is the most famous copper craftsman in Tokat, and continues to make copper works at his workshop. |
