Nihat Özer

Nihat Özer was born in Ağrı, Patnos in 1967. He started working in his family business of Edirne soap making when he was a child. He studied in the business school at Dokuz Eylül University in Izmir. Özer has produce Edirne fruit soap at his workshop, and trained other artisans. He stresses the importance of good training to continue this handicraft. He has participated in many handicraft fairs in Ankara, Izmir, and Istanbul. The Özer Hediyelik has been featured on TV programs.
