Niyazi Köleoğlu

Niyazi Köleoğlu was born in Altınkaya, a village, near Hatay in 1935. In practicing his craft, he first selects wheat stalks. After he cleans and dyes them, he makes bags, plates, baskets and mats with many different motifs. He often receives support from the Turkish Ministry of Culture in order to introduce himself and his work.
