Nurhan Eyidoğan

Nurhan Eyidoğan was born in Bartın in 1962. She finished Bartın Business High School. She retired after working self employed for 20 years. Between 2000 and 2005, Eyidoğan taught the embroidery technique of “tel kırma” (embroidery works with flat strip of metal) at the Province Directorate of Culture and Tourism. She developed new models from many antique and precious embroidered coverings and applied them on her works. Some of her embroidered works were given to State guests, including Mrs. Bush, the wife of the former President of the United States of America. Her embroidered tableau “Paflagonya” is exhibited in the Padova Museum, Italy.
