Nurhan Ulusaraç

Nurhan Ulusaraç was born in Istanbul in 1957. She stepped into the world of arts at the Department of Handicrafts and Flowers of Selçuk Vocational High School for Girls. After graduating from the Institute for Banking and Trade Law Studies, she worked in the banking sector for 22 years. After retiring, she learned cold ceramic at Caferağa Art School. In 2002 she started marbling works (Ebru) under the guidance of Fuat Başar. In 2007 she completed her studies at the Traditional Turkish Ornamental Arts Training Center within the Department of National Palaces of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, and obtained her professional license in papercutting (Kaatı). She currently continues to create art works in both branches of art.
