Art Profile	:	Alev Uzun was born in Kocaeli in 1962. She graduated from the Department of International Relations at Gazi University. She learned Turkish Arts from renowned teachers such as Dürdane Ünver, Müjgan Başköylü, Harika Yazıcı, Münevver Üçer, and Hikmet Barutçugil. Uzun received her professional license in papercutting from Dürdane Ünver. Uzun has participated in many group exhibitions in Turkey. She currently continues her work in Istanbul.
