Birol Biçer

Birol Biçer was born in Istanbul in 1969. He graduated from the Faculty of Law at Istanbul University. He learned marbling (ebru) from Aydın Gülan, who worked as an apprentice to the master Mustafa Düzgünman. Between 2000 and 2005, Biçer taught marbling art at the İSMEK. He has had several solo exhibitions and has participated in group exhibitions in Istanbul, Miami, Geneva and Cologne. Currently, Biçer continues to work at his workshop in Istanbul.
