Reşide Ünal Hamzaoğlu

Reşide Ünal Hamzaoğlu was born in Ankara in 1939. She finished Selçuk Art Institute for Girls. In 1973, she founded the Melis Handicrafts-Decoration. Between 1976 and 1999, she served as a chief quality controller and a research-development director in the Fatoş Toys. In 2000, Hamzaoğlu established Ayvalık A.D.A Kültür Hizmetleri (Cultural Service). In the next year, she organized the A.D.A. international cultural activity and participated in a group exhibition at the Kadir Has Center. In 2002, Hamzaoğlu received an award of merit from the DÖSİM, which belongs to the Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism. She also participated in handicrafts exhibitions, which were organized by the Municipality of Beyoğlu (2006) and of Selçuk (2007).
