S. Cem Dönmez

Cem Dönmez started making bows four years ago. In his work, he uses documents and books, and refers to museum pieces. His master and teacher is Adam Karpowz who works in Canada. Karpowz sends materials for bow making, and letters with instructions for making bows to him almost every day. Cem Dönmez gave two seminars on the Ottoman bow in Istanbul. He participated in the Korean Bow Festival and exchanged experiences with other participants. Recently, several magazines and TV channels have given importance to Ottoman bow-making and its history.
