Sadullah Çekmece

Sadullah Çekmece was born in Antakya in 1974. He graduated from the Ceramic Department in the Faculty of Fine Arts at Dokuz Eylül University in 2002. After working at several ceramic workshops and companies, Çekmece founded the Sır Tile and Ceramic Workshop in Tünel, Istanbul in 2005. He makes not only ceramics but also wall panels and tiles. He has also taught tiles and ceramics, and given workshops. Between 2006 and 2007, he worked for the wall panel project in the Mehmet Kutlu Studio. Çekmece has had many solo exhibitions and has participated in numerous group exhibitions in Turkey.
