Seher Aşıcı

Seher Aşıcı was born in Manisa in 1969. She graduated from the Department of Traditional Turkish Handicrafts in the Faculty of Fine Arts at Marmara University. She completed her master’s (1996) and doctoral degree (2007) at her alma mater. Besides preparing traditional illuminations, Aşıcı works in modern writings and graphical interpretations. She has participated in many group exhibitions in Turkey and abroad. Her works can be seen in various private and public collections. Currently, Aşıcı continues to teach at Marmara University.
