Sevim Öztürk

Sevim Öztürk was born in Afyon in 1954. She has painted all kinds of pictures including miniature in the past 35 years. She learned how to paint miniature from Mükerrem Taşkapılıoğlu, Şahin İnalöz and Ayla Renda. Öztürk received a certificate as a skilled teacher on illumination (Tezhip) and miniature from the Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism. She has had many solo exhibitions and participated in numerous group exhibitions. She also published her two poem books. As of today, Öztürk continues her works in Ankara.
