Suat Veral

Suat Veral was born in Istanbul in 1966. He learned how to make shadow puppets from his brother Tevfik Veral. Since 1984, he has been designing and making shadow puppets using special dye materials and special techniques. Veral has participated in many Handicrafts fairs and activities in Turkey. He has made more than 20,000 puppet figures for the Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism. Currently, he continues to work at his workshop in Istanbul.
