Timuçin Tanarslan

Timuçin Tanarslan was born in Ankara in 1975. His father received a practicing certificate on ebru from the ebru master, Mustafa Düzgünman and opened an ebru course at home. Timuçin learned ebru there and could make it whenever he wanted. His father also gave an ebru class at the Private Ayseabla College where he went; he could also learn ebru at school. Timuçin Tanarslan continued his works and could receive a first prize in the competition of Traditional Turkish Decorative Art, which was held by the Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism in 1995.  In the same year, he entered the school of economic at Eskişehir Anadolu University. In 1997 he won the first prize at the brunch of ebru art in a competition, which was held by the Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism. He then participated in many group exhibitions in Turkey and gave private ebru courses. In 2001 he moved to Istanbul from Ankara. These days Tanarslan makes ebru with Oğuz Aral, who is a write as well as a famous caricature artist.
