Uğur Özşengül

Uğur Özşengül was born in Çorum in 1961 and finished primary and middle school. In 1967 he started working in his father’s sculpture, painting and serigraphy workshop. Özşengül continues to make sculptures, reliefs, models and platelets at his own workshop. He exhibits his works all over in Turkey. He designed sculptures for the Hacı Bektaş Museum in Turkey and the Mannheim Museum in Germany. Özşengül generally prefers to carve archaeological figures out of stone.
