Yıldız Esin Sevgin

Yıldız Esin Sevgin was born in Istanbul in 1963. She graduated from the Department of Business Administration at Anadolu University and the Archaeology Department at Atatürk University. Since 2003, she has learned marbling (Ebru) from Ayla Makas and Gülden Güldamar. Sevgin teaches marbling at the 75th Anniversary Center of Children and Youth and the Deniz Yıldızı Workshop, which was founded within ISKI in 2004. She also teaches marbling and ceramic works at the Charity Institution for Street Children.
