Art Profile	:	Zehra Çekin was born in Istanbul in 1962. She graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at Istanbul University. She started learning illumination art (Tezhip) from Cahide Keskiner and calligraphy from Hüseyin Kutlu in 1994. She received professional certification in 2001.
